Matthew R. Malone

Hurt, Crosbie & May PLLC
The Equus Building
127 West Main Street
Lexington, KY 40507

"I believe in John Maxwell's theory that "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." My number one priority is for my clients to feel valued and cared for.  They need to know that their lawyer has made them a priority and will seek justice."

Matthew R. Malone received his B.B.A., magna cum laude, in Finance from the University of Kentucky Gatton School of Business and Management.  He later received his J.D. from the University of Kentucky, College of Law where he was a member of the Trial Advocacy Board.

Since becoming a member of Hurt, Crosbie and May, Matt has focused his practice helping families, fighting for children and defending the wrongly accused.  He has wide-ranging experience in many legal practice areas with an emphasis on personal injury and wrongful death, civil litigation, federal and state criminal defense, domestic relations, administrative law, probate and insurance coverage.

As a graduate of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, Matt continues to remain active in the Lexington community on a number of fronts.  Most of his volunteer time over the past few years has been in his role as President of the board at the Children's Advocacy Center.  He and his wife, Emily, enjoy their free time with their son, Clark, and look forward to his participation in youth sports and other activities.
