Aerosmith Guitarist Joe Perry Injured in Motorcycle Accident

Aerosmith’s guitarist Joe Perry required hospital treatment for minor injuries after he was rear-ended on his motorcycle by a car in Massachusetts this month, according to the Wave 3 news website.  The musician was reportedly riding his motorcycle at a low speed when a car struck him from behind, although the car was said to be traveling at low speeds as well.  After the car-motorcycle collision, the driver of the car received a citation for following too closely, and Perry was treated for unknown injuries and released from the hospital within a couple hours.  According to the report, the Aerosmith guitarist’s condition will not affect any of the band’s upcoming tour dates or shows.
