Determining Liability in Unusual Central Kentucky Crashes or "Freak Accidents"

An unusual central Kentucky crash caused one car to overturn in the median of I-75 after a bird flew into the open window of the vehicle, according to the Courier Press news site.  The Madison County car accident occurred when the bird flew through the window and into the face of an unidentified female driver, causing her to lose control of the car.  The strange I-75 accident, thankfully, did not result in any injuries, and the driver was found sitting next to her vehicle when officers arrived.

Although no one was injured in this Lexington area accident, other "freak accidents" have caused bodily harm to others in the past, often with different parties arguing over fault and liability.  Determining liability can be difficult in some Lexington crashes, but proving fault when external factors are involved can be especially trying.  When a bird flies through a window, you can't really blame the driver for losing control of the vehicle.  If that driver was engaged in any form of distracted driving immediately before the unusual occurrence, however, the accident would need to be examined more closely.  If you have been hurt in a central Kentucky car accident or Lexington truck wreck and have questions regarding liability, negligence, or how to obtain financial compensation for related medical expenses, feel free to contact Lexington car wreck attorney Scott Crosbie.  Crosbie will answer your questions for free at no obligation to you.  Contact Scott online or call him toll-free at 800-239-0039.
