In Another Fayette County Motor Vehicle Crash

27-WKYT is reporting that a Lexington, KY road is now back open after a serious crash early Friday morning.  A man driving a Saturn VUE crashed along Faulkner Avenue just after 5 a.m. That is off Russell Cave Road, near I-75, in northern Fayette County.

The road was closed until around 8 a.m. The vehicle wrapped around a tree and ended up on its side.  One man was inside the vehicle. He was transported to U.K. Hospital. Police believe he suffered serious or critical injuries.

The victim has been identified as Jackie R. George, 33, of Lexington.  Police believe alcohol contributed to the crash.

This is the second alcohol-related car crash in the past week on Lexington roads.
