Two Hurt in Kentucky Electrical Company Accident With Power Line

A Kentucky electric company has been fined after two contract workers were injured installing a new line in Casey County, according to the Kentucky news website.  In the Kentucky personal injury accident, workers for Elliot Construction were installing a new line when it came into contact with a charged 7,200-volt line.  The Kentucky workers suffered minor electric burns in the incident, and the Kentucky Public Service Commission (PSC) has fined South Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative an amount of $9,250 for violating safety regulations.
