I have never needed to hire an attorney in the past. What should I expect during my initial attorney interview after an injury?

A: If you or a family member have been hurt in accident, the thought of openly discussing these matters with a stranger can be distressing.  Hurt, Crosbie and May attorneys understand your anxiety as we have participated in thousands of initial meetings with clients in our practices.  This process is made further difficult by the fact that you may still be grieving for the loss of a mother or father or experiencing the agony of seeing your child suffering from serious medical injuries.

Typically, the initial meeting is one of understanding-both for you and for us.  It provides us with the opportunity to learn facts and explore possibilities for how to best approach your individual circumstances.  It is also a process of meaningful discovery.  We will listen closely to your description and knowledge about the accident and hopefully gain insight about the general nature of the injuries that have been experienced.

For you, this initial meeting will provide you with the chance to learn more about our experience, our approach and our philosophy-both in and outside the Courtroom.  There may never be a greater emotional and financial challenge for you and your family and it is important to Hurt, Crosbie & May that you feel both confident and comfortable in the representation you have selected.
