A 70-year-old Lexington resident was tragically killed in a central Kentucky accident involving a riding mower, according to the NKY news source. Sadieville resident Joe Todd Hall was reportedly riding his lawn mower at his home Monday evening when the mower overturned on an incline and pinned him beneath it. According to Scott County Coroner John Goble, Hall's death was caused by blunt force trauma in the tragic lawn mower accident.
At the law firm of Hurt, Crosbie, & May, we express our deepest sympathies to the friends and family of Joe Todd Hall, and our thoughts are with them at this most difficult time. No further details were included in the report of this central Kentucky accident, such as the type of lawn mower Hall was riding or the exact cause of its overturning. If a defective part of the lawn mower had caused the accident, however, a defective product case might be possible. If you have been injured or lost a loved one as the result of a defective product or part, you may have a case of central Kentucky wrongful death or Lexington product liability.
