Tragic Lexington Landfill Accident Ends in Wrongful Death

A 27-year-old Lexington man died in a tragic landfill accident this month when he was trapped between two trash bins, according to the WKRN news website.  According to authorities, Jesse Hodges was loading the bins in preparation for them to be transported when he was pinned between them.  According to the president of Demolition Disposal Services, the company Hodges worked for, the estimated weight of each trash bin was over 1,000 pounds.  Following the tragic Lexington landfill accident, the employee was pronounced dead at the University of Kentucky Hospital.
